As a volunteer with Asian Australians for Climate Solutions (AAFCS), you are part of a community committed to meaningful climate action. This Code of Conduct is here to guide our collaboration and ensure an environment of respect, integrity, and accountability.
As AAFCS Volunteers, We Agree To:
- Respect and Sensitivity: Treat everyone with respect, courtesy, and understanding, honoring each person’s unique experiences and perspectives.
- Inclusivity and Non-Discrimination: Act inclusively and without discrimination towards all individuals, fostering a welcoming environment for everyone.
- Honesty and Integrity: Uphold honesty, fairness, and equity in our actions and decisions, acting with integrity in all interactions.
- Commitment to Excellence: Carry out tasks responsibly and diligently, applying our skills, knowledge, and experience to the best of our ability.
- Teamwork and Compliance: Follow reasonable guidance from leaders and team members, and work collaboratively to achieve AAFCS’s goals.
- Alignment with AAFCS Values: Support and uphold AAFCS’s mission, vision, and values in all our activities and representations.
- Legal and Ethical Compliance: Adhere to all relevant legislation, standards, and ethical practices as they relate to our role.
- Truthfulness in Representation: Avoid spreading false or misleading information about AAFCS, our staff, or our community.
- Accountability and Safety: Be accountable for our actions, taking care of our health and safety and considering the safety of others.
- Confidentiality: Use confidential information only as necessary for your volunteer duties at AAFCS and maintain discretion in handling any sensitive information.

Sustainable Practices Adoption: Electrify Our Houses
Gas cooking is not only expensive but also causes childhood asthma and is bad for respiratory health, the CO2 emitted by our gas cooking stays in environment for 100s years adding to global warming and climate change crisis. By using induction cooking, installing solar panels and heat pumps are Good for health, Save Money and Good for environment. Read More
