Her journey in the climate sector includes leading roles in organizations like Parents for Climate and Electrify Adelaide.
In the dental world, she has served in various roles including being Chair of Environmental & Sustainability Committee for Australian Dental Association (SA). Moving to Australia in her early 20s, Corinne deeply understands the immigrant experience, and the unique challenges faced by Asian communities in building environmental awareness.
She is committed to nurturing the next generation, often engaging with local schools and pre-schools to inspire young environmentalists.

Say is a dedicated community organiser and advocate based in South Australia, with a strong focus on multicultural engagement, grassroots organising, and social justice campaigns.
She is the Digital Engagement and Community Outreach Manager for the Asian Australians for Climate Solutions (AAFCS), where she combines digital innovation with grassroots strategies to strengthen community connections, mobilise public support, and advance advocacy on critical social and climate issues.
With extensive experience in event and community organising, campaign management, and volunteer mobilisation, Say has successfully led a wide range of multicultural projects, fundraisers, and community programs. She is also active in fostering cross-cultural networks through platforms such as WeChat and Facebook, connecting thousands of community members and expanding access to essential services and opportunities.
Driven by a passion for equity, inclusion, anti-discrimination, justice, and climate action, Say is committed to empowering communities, amplifying diverse voices, and fostering adaptation and resilience across Australia.

Ann has dedicated her career to education, behaviour change, and climate action through a human-centred approach.
With 10+ years of professional experiences from supporting asylum seekers to working alongside government officials on policy change management, Ann brings a deep commitment to building connections, to each other, to ourselves, and to the planet we share. She believes that lasting climate solutions begin with people, and that human stories are powerful tools for sparking change.
At AAFCS, Ann leads workshops, forums, and campaigns that place multicultural voices at the centre of climate action. Her work focuses on creating spaces where diverse communities can engage, collaborate, and drive solutions that are both inclusive and impactful.
Beyond her role at AAFCS, Ann is passionate about making climate engagement accessible and inspiring. She has designed initiatives that combine learning design with cultural storytelling, helping communities see themselves as active participants in Australia’s climate future.
Outside of work, Ann enjoys tending to native plants in her garden, treasure hunting at op shops, playing with her puppy and kittens, playing music and exploring the outdoors through hiking and bouldering with friends.

Louie Leung

Louie has been running bilingual environmental and waste education programs across Sydney for the past 10 years, specialising in liaison with migrant groups.
His passion for science communication started in the lab, when he was challenged to relate knowledge to the general public and compete against misinformation as a biologist. Learning about the Australian environment has deepened his sense of belonging as a migrant.
In his community outreach, he works to improve knowledge access in different language communities, allowing his audience to take ownership of their climate actions through cultural and emotional connection.

Kim has spent almost 10 years advocating for social and environmental determinants of health in the context of climate change.
As a GP based in Riverstone, she holds numerous health & environment roles such as current Chair of Hills Doctors Association, former Chair of Doctors for the Environment NSW, and being on NSW AMA and GP Council and NSW/ACT Faculty Council RACGP .
Kim has received numerous awards for her advocacy work; her most recent awards being the 2023 ZEST Awards for Climate Change Resilience, 2023 MLI Climate Leader of the Year, 2022 AMA Presidents Award and the Edna Ryan award 2021 for Making a Feminist difference with community activism.
She is a regular guest speaker on radio, television, podcasts, and is a well-regarded speaker at local community, environmental events and health/medical conferences.
She is passionate about her garden and growing food and belongs to Permaculture Sydney West.

Rathana Chea

Rathana has spent over 20 years working internationally strengthening people, building organisations and delivering impactful strategies.
He has worked in the areas of environmental sustainability, climate change, human rights and technology. He has served on senior management and executive teams in Europe, Australia, Asia and Globally for Greenpeace, Amnesty International, the Sunrise Project and other leading change agents. He has also served on countless boards including as Vice Chair of the peak body for multicultural communities, ECC as well as serving on the board of leading campaign training institutes such as, New York based Mobilisation Lab and regionally focused AktivAsia.
Rathana has co-founded and successfully scale up numerous social enterprise, not-for-profit and charity startups into fully fledged impact focused organisations across Asia and Australia.
Rathana holds several qualifications across multiple disciplines from Oxford University, UNSW, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and the University of Technology Sydney where he was awarded the Vice Chancellors’ Human Rights HC Award, underscoring his dedication to making a difference.

Harpreet S Kandra

Dr Harpreet Singh Kandra is a Senior Lecturer in Water Engineering at Federation University, teaching courses in water systems, water treatment and management of water resources.
He conducts research on wastewater recycling and reuse, water-sensitive urban design, integrated water resource management and circular economy.
Harpreet holds a PhD from Monash University focused on stormwater treatment, and has led or contributed to many multidisciplinary research initiatives spanning Australia and internationally.
He has worked on global projects, including those funded by United Nations agencies (UNDP, UNEP, UN-Habitat) and partnerships across developed and developing nations.
He has been actively involved in engaging environmental and multicultural community groups within Cardinia Shire, including tree planting events, clean-up campaigns, and climate change education. He passionately advocates for environmental justice, multicultural inclusion, and health, especially in how climate impacts diverse communities, including within his role as treasurer at Siri Guru Nanak Darbar Sikh Temple.

Dr Lai Heng Foong has spent over 25 years of experience in public Health, disaster medicine and climate change. As an Emergency Medicine Specialist at Bankstown Hospital, she navigates the complexities of serving a multicultural community.
Lai Heng’s involvement in committees, such as being Co-Chair of the Emergency Care Institute Community of Practice (CoP) and Chair of the Public Health and Disaster Committee of ACEM and the International Federation of Emergency Medicine (IFEM) Public and Environmental Health Special Interest Group; highlights her commitment to public health.
She is also a respected academic, holding roles as Senior Conjoint Lecturer with University of New South Wales and University of Western Sydney, publishing in peer reviewed journals on Pandemic preparedness, anti-racism and climate change and health, and regularly presenting at conferences.
Recognized among the top 124 Asian Australians in the AA124 2023/2024 award, Lai Heng’s story is one of unwavering dedication to improving community and global health.

Leading Climateworks Centre’s Southeast Asia team, she collaborates with stakeholders in Australia and Southeast Asia to boost climate ambition in the region. Trang’s background in banking and finance equips her to manage climate adaptation and mitigation programs effectively, and her expertise has been instrumental in shaping the UK’s climate strategy in Vietnam.
Trang’s academic achievements include a Masters in Banking and Finance from the University of Nottingham in the UK, and advanced studies at Harvard University on Leading Green Growth, reflecting her commitment to sustainable development.
