Asian Australians for Climate Solutions (AAFCS) showed its influence and power by mobilising multicultural communities within five days of Labor’s Provisional Approval of the North West Shelf Extension. In that time, we secured 52 signatures and logos for an open letter sent to Senators Murray Watt and Malarndirri McCarthy, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Climate Change Minister Chris Bowen, and MP Josh Wilson—demonstrating the strength of our networks and our ability to unite voices for climate justice at critical moments.
